TLN Mobility ESF Learning Seminar 2014
"Transnational Mobility Measures for Disadvantaged Youth and Young Adults financed through the ESF 2014-2020"
The TLN Mobility ESF Learning Seminar took place in Berlin, Germany on October 22, 2014. It was targeted at all ESF Managing Authorities and ESF Implementing Bodies in Europe who intend to use their national or regional ESF to tackle youth unemployment through mobility.
Over the course of 15 months, TLN Mobility has developed a "Coordinated Call on ESF Transnational Mobility Measures for Disadvantaged Youth and Young Adults". This Coordinated Call now serves as a voluntary framework for launching national and regional ESF calls for transnational mobility projects in 2014/15.
The Coordinated Call is based on experience from previous measures and an intensive process of discussion among the network members. It defines mandatory common minimum requirements on the
-
target group,
-
the eligibility of costs,
-
the quality of the measures,
-
and the national and regional implementation structures.
The Learning Seminar offered delegates the opportunity to obtain more detailed information on the content of the Coordinated Call and the process of its national and regional implementation in an interactive and workshop-based format.
Delegates were also introduced to the supplementary Manual of Guidance which contains further recommendations, examples and case studies of implementation. They thus had the opportunity to discuss in detail the preparation of regional or national calls with peer decision-makers in ESF policy and programming on national and regional levels and learn about additional support provided by the Learning Network.
