EXIST Transfer of Research

The EXIST programme aims at improving the entrepreneurial environment at universities and non-university research institutes. It also aims at increasing the number and success of technology and knowledge based business start-ups.

The EXIST Transfer of Research provides support for outstanding research-based start-up projects that involve costly, high-risk development work. The goals of the programme are to support technology-oriented start-ups and to ensure the sustainability of start-ups and jobs.

EXIST is the follow-up to the programme of the same name in the 2014-2020 ESF programming period.
