The present manual for successful transnational work with disadvantaged target groups seeks to provide a guiding quality framework with recommendations and pointers based on practical experience of the projects in the priority area "Integration through Exchange (IdA)" of the Federal ESF Integration Directive.

The manual bundles the previous knowledge and the gained know-how of all those involved and makes them clear and usable for the project work. Project actors have dealt with central questions of project implementation and jointly developed criteria that show where special attention is paid to what constitutes quality.
